Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sparrow Foods and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
