Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Meridian Hospitality is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to supplier orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
