Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Anchorage, AK)

Bright Lakeside Freight is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
