Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Albuquerque, NM)

Northwind Clear Freight is a Albuquerque logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
