Project Coordinator - budget tracking (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Maple Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Virginia Beach supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Project Coordinator to take on budget tracking. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep project schedules, tasks and owners current in a shared tracker. • Track budgets and purchase orders for projects involving volunteer shifts. • Chase deliverables politely and flag risks early. • Support handover so finished work is documented. • Prepare weekly status reports for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort working with many stakeholders at once. • Two years of project or programme coordination. • Strong organisation and clear written updates. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • PMP or CAPM certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
