Project Coordinator - budget tracking (remote)

Fernwood Labs is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Project Coordinator to lead our budget tracking. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Coordinate meetings, minutes and follow-ups across teams. • Support handover so finished work is documented. • Chase deliverables politely and flag risks early. • Keep project schedules, tasks and owners current in a shared tracker. • Prepare weekly status reports for managers. What we are looking for • Two years of project or programme coordination. • Comfort working with many stakeholders at once. • Strong organisation and clear written updates. Nice to have • PMP or CAPM certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
