Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Ember Early Learning Partners runs childcare centres in Virginia Beach caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Prepare reports on tuition and subsidies for funders. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
