Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Savannah, GA)

Fernwood Basin Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Savannah, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on procurement for funders. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
