Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (San Diego, CA)

Nova Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around San Diego. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Prepare reports on ridership counts for funders. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
