Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Housing provides affordable homes and support services around New Orleans, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Prepare reports on repair requests for funders. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
