Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (remote)

Highbridge Orchard Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Oakland design routes and schedules, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on ridership counts for funders. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. What we are looking for • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
