Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (remote)

Summit Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Virginia Beach working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on route schedules for funders. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
