Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Thistle Learning Group and adding a Programme Coordinator whose main responsibility will be volunteer coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 529 people based in Houston. What you will do • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Prepare reports on attendance records for funders. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. What we are looking for • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
