Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Houston, TX)

Rivermark Nest Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Houston. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on rent assistance for funders. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
