Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Houston, TX)

Cedar River Housing manages affordable housing communities across Houston. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Prepare reports on repair requests for funders. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
