Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Houston, TX)

Northwind Sparrow Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Houston presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on school partnerships for funders. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
