Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Fresno, CA)

Redstone Birch Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Fresno presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on volunteer programmes for funders. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
