Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Detroit, MI)

Summit Bright Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Detroit, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Prepare reports on enrolment for funders. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
