Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Sparrow Arts Center Partners is a cultural organisation in Des Moines presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on volunteer coordination. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on school partnerships for funders. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. What we are looking for • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
