Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Des Moines, IA)

Redstone Keystone Arts Center is an arts centre in Des Moines with a full calendar of events, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Prepare reports on school partnerships for funders. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
