Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Beacon Community Partners is a nonprofit in Birmingham supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Prepare reports on client intake for funders. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
