Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Yarrow Civic Services Group and adding a Programme Coordinator whose main responsibility will be volunteer coordination. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on constituent requests for funders. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
