Programme Coordinator - grant compliance (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Birch Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on grant compliance. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Prepare reports on accessibility audits for funders. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. What we are looking for • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
