Programme Coordinator - event and workshop delivery (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Oakland design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on event and workshop delivery. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on route schedules for funders. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
