Programme Coordinator - event and workshop delivery (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Fern Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Chicago. We are hiring a Programme Coordinator to take on event and workshop delivery. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Prepare reports on service alerts for funders. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. What we are looking for • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
