Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Meridian Foods Associates produces packaged foods at its Tampa plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
