Production Supervisor - shift supervision (San Diego, CA)

Cedar Keystone Foods is a San Diego food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
