Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Bright Granite Manufacturing Group and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be shift supervision. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and tooling. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
