Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Reno, NV)

Ironwood Ashton Foods is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
