Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Northwind Ember Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Atlanta plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
