Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Cedar Amber Manufacturing is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
