Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Redstone Nest Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Richmond plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
