Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Ironwood Bright Press is a printer and publisher in Detroit serving local and national clients, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
