Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Summit Maple Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
