Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Nova Fern Foods is a Sacramento food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and production batches. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
