Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Amberfield Maple Press produces print and digital publications in Birmingham, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of about 703 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
