Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Foods and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be shift supervision. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and ingredient orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
