Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Fern Farms is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Portland. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and seasonal crews. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
