Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Portland, OR)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Portland plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
