Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Pittsburgh, PA)

Summit Orchard Farms is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and grower contracts. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
