Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Beacon Press Partners is a printer and publisher in Pittsburgh serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
