Production Supervisor - shift supervision (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and production lines. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
