Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Nashville, TN)

Bright River Press Group is a printer and publisher in Nashville serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
