Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Minneapolis, MN)

Summit Oak Foods is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on shift supervision for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
