Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Knoxville, TN)

Foxglove Amber Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Knoxville plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
