Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Hartford, CT)

Bright Field Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Hartford plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of about 221 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
