Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Grand Rapids, MI)

Summit Glen Foods is a Grand Rapids food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and ingredient orders. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
