Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Glen Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Detroit plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of about 827 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
