Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Quill Foods is a Buffalo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of about 436 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and production batches. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
