Production Supervisor - shift supervision (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing makes precision components in Baltimore, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our shift supervision. You would join a large organisation of about 393 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
